This MasterCraft X80 already came factory equipped with a good stereo and lighting
effects. The stereo consisted of a Clarion CD player, JL Audio six-channel amp,
three pair JL Audio component speakers and a JL Audio subwoofer.

All the factory gear was
top drawer so we maintained what was there. Our
job was to get more out of the factory system and add
tower speakers. Also, we were contracted to add tower
speaker lighting. |

We
added a two-channel JL Audio amplifier to drive the tower
speakers. To house the two amplifiers we constructed a custom
amp rack and façade which featured an aluminum shroud
with triple fans.
We upgraded the factory ten-gauge service
to two-gauge. The heavier battery-direct link in combination
with re-setting the crossovers and gains made a monumental
difference in the audio system’s performance.

 We fabricated acrylic diffusers for the tower speakers. A total of 132 ultra-bright
LEDS adorned the chrome speaker pods. |
