Maybe just a little. But this ride sure does rock! And the photos can’t capture the magnificent color scheme on the hull.

While it doesn’t normally show the custom underdash shroud we built is perhaps the most important cosmetic element of the audio project. The shroud conceals the glove box mounting, the source unit mounting, the satellite radio tuner and the protocol adapter plus all of the loomed wires and cables.
In the cabin and behind the seat cushion we built in a fan-cooled Boston Acoustics five-channel amplifier. For air exchange this cavity vents out the top of the seat console. The amplifier stability is rated at one-ohm in stereo. We’re loading the amplifier at two ohms on all five channels which is just cruisin’. Eight coaxils and two subwoofers in all.
We doubled-up on Polk Audio coaxils at the front and rear of the cockpit. These Polk Audio speakers feature adjustable tweeters that can be aimed upward. The midbass drivers deliver a lot of surface area to keep up at high speeds.
Each silver speaker is trimmed with blue acrylic and ties in well with the boat color scheme. The courtesy lights were relocated to give way to the speakers so that they could be mounted in symmetrical patterns and get the best location.
Oversized 8-inch pods are powdercoated in a red that match the hull color and contrast against the tower. The pods are also clearcoated for a deeper color that won’t dull over time.
