Sometimes new equipment is retro-fitted into a
console containing previous equipment cut-outs. As seen in these
photos panels are fabricated to cover the old openings and provide
new locations in both the upper and lower console sections.
These panels are made from marine King Starboard polymer which
is impervious to water and UV discoloration. We stock several
thicknesses in both ‘white’ and ‘tan’ to
match contemporary helm colors. We also stock several ‘black’
polymers for trimrings and bezels. We can custom color-match
polymers with UV stabilized dyes. The perimeter shape and the
face edge radius can be tailored to ideally match existing indexes
and contours.
