This Sea Ray 260 Sundancer received the full video treatment in the cabin and on the cockpit.
We added a Sharp 15-inch LCD TV to the interior of the port side arch. A custom compound angle powdercoated aluminum bracket compensates for the inward arch lean and angles the LCD towards the largest portion of the cockpit seating.
The center mounting post conceals the wiring path for AC power and antenna coaxil. A quick-release bracket allow the LCD TV to remove and install in just seconds without any tools.
A Shakespeare saucer-type omni-directional UNF/VHF antenna was added atop the arch.
The UHF/VHF signal amplifier concealed in a locker. We also installed a Ship-To-Shore antenna fixture at the transom for cable or satellite TV service while in the slip.
We added a DVD player (lower right). The DVD unit features a TV tuner for the cabin LCD.
The starboard side of the cabin ceiling BEFORE we installed the TV monitor.
AFTER, A 14-inch flip-down LCD monitor installed to a custom fabricated birch fixture clad in Sea Ray factory vinyl. A conceal mounting platform was attached to the underside of the bow deck cap using a super strong fiberglass bonding agent. This 14-inch monitor was a nice upgrade from the factory 10-inch option.
For cabin video in this version, a 15-inch LCD TV is mounted to the closet door.
A white polymer cap conceals the structural mounting hardware on the interior. Several components are used to neatly loom the cables and finish the cable penetrations.
A DVD player was installed next to the source unit plus a hideaway electronic switcher is used to deliver both theater sound and iPod to the source unit’s auxiliary input.
