This
system features a touch of custom while maintaining a neutral
connection to the factory color scheme. And, the system sounds
amazing!
Within the glove box we installed a dedicated line-level
control for the tower speakers. A custom trim panel allows
the control to frontload.
A pair of Polk Audio speakers
forward in the cockpit plus a second pair in the rear
of the cockpit. The Polk graphite grills and the yellow
vinyl clad bolster rings tie in perfectly with the gray
and yellow interior accents. We also built concealed
carpet covered birch baffles around the rear speakers
to provide front to rear acoustic isolation.
Under the driver’s helm console a Bazooka
marine 8-inch bass-reflex subwoofer tube with chrome-plated
aluminum mounting rings. A carpet-covered birch panel adapts
to the floor of the console.
We
added a second pair of polished aluminum tower pods to our
original set. Yellow acrylic trim rings between the pods and
speakers provide a nice effect that ties in with the cockpit
bolster rings and boat appointments.
We
added a second battery, tray and dual battery Perko switch.
