2002 Cadillac Escalade
In
addition to the headrest monitors and overhead flipdown monitor,
the dash features an Alpine multimedia source unit with a
motorized LCD screen. This unit displays navigation mapping
as well as DVD movies.
When driving, the motorized screen may be revealed for navigation
or concealed when not in use.
An infrared remote control operates the navigation and information
functions.
With the passenger seat all the way forward and the carpeted
shroud removed, the DVD navigation unit can be seen. Otherwise
there is no reason to access this unit.
