| With the Parrot voice recognition hands-free
kit, there is no need for a cradle. In fact, there is no visible
link between the hands-free kit and your cellphone. The connection
is totally wireless via Bluetooth technology. This means the
driver keeps their cellphone in his/her pocket or handbag.
The system automatically detects your personal cellphone in
the proximity of your vehicle’s interior and establishes
a digital wireless connection to it. From this point on, all
incoming and outgoing calls are handled without touching your
phone. Voice recognition provides dialing, answering and hang-up
by simple voice commands. |
 |
The hideaway processor controls all functions. Features
include full duplex operation (meaning two-way simultaneous
conversation), noise reduction and echo cancellation plus
automatic radio/stereo mute during calls. |
 |
One or both of the front factory speakers serve as a phone
speaker and are switched between communications and entertainment
automatically. |
 |
An overhead microphone is located just above the rearview
mirror. |
 |
Shown is the interior of the rear quarter panel where access
is gained for the factory electronics interface.
Also, the Parrot is programmed by an EARMARK technician to
exclusively function with a particular cellphone and its unique
electronic I.D. |
 |
As
seen in the lower left-hand corner of the center console, a
small two-button manual control switch provides redundant commands
if necessary. |
