This Yamaha 230 jetboat received a VHF radio with second mic,
chartplotter,
GPS and sonar.
Concealed within the passenger side lower glovebox, we installed an
iCom VHF
radio and mic. The radio mount was blocked down so that it was located
within the opening.
A second full-featured VHF mic on the driver side.
A four foot fiberglass whip on a stainless steel ratcheting base that
allows
the antenna to be raised and lowered. A stainless steel watertight
gland
dresses out the cable were it penetrates the deck cap.
A Garmin chartplotter is mounted at the driver helm in a manner that
does
not obstruct your vision or dash instruments.
A custom-made white polymer bridge spans the corner between the dash
and
deck cap in order to provide a stable platform for the
chartplotter/GPS/sonar display.
The GPS antenna is flush-mounted in the bow cap for a clean, low
profile
install.
The sonar module mounted to a carpet-clad birch panel.
