Yamaha 232 Limited

Tower system, in-boat system, chartplotter and fishfinder, courtesy light package plus underwater lighting and built-in charger.

JL Audio 7.7-inch tower speakers are loaded into Bullet 8-inch pods. The pods are custom powdercoated to match the blue hull. This particular JL Audio speaker is designed specifically for the small displacement of a tower pod. Without question, this JL Audio tower speaker has the smoothest response and best midbass of any tower speaker to date. It's great for surfing, while at anchor or when beached.

Alpine 10-inch free-air subwoofer in rear seat console. A carpet-clad resin-coated ¾-inch thick birch baffle ring reinforces the fiberglass mounting.

The 6½ -inch coaxial that shares the same console locker as the subwoofer receives a carpeted adapter ring and a molded ABS isolation chamber.

Four 6½ -inch marine coaxials from JL Audio replace the four factory speakers. What a difference!

Two Alpine amplifiers, one four-channel is dedicated to the tower (4x100 watts) and one four-channel (2x75+1x150 watts) drives a subwoofer and four coaxials in the boat.

A Lowrange chartplotter and fishfinder combo unit has a built-in GPS antenna and a transom-mount sonar transducer.

Abyss blue underwater light with 12 ultrabright LEDs.

Rear cockpit courtesy lights.

Courtesy lights in forward cockpit coaming pockets.

Bow courtesy lights.

Two marine switches to control the blue courtesy lights and underwater lights.

We installed a permanent dual bank battery charger plus an AC inlet. The exposed inlet makes plugging in an AC extension cord a breeze. No other access is required to engage the charger.
